Veronica Pivetti is an Italian actor and voice-over artist who also hosted shows on television and radio. She published her first book HO SMESSO DI PIANGERE (I stopped crying) in 2012.
Five friends in their fifties find themselves at a turning point in their romantic and sexual relationships, and shamelessly share their sex experiences and misadventures.
Adelaide, 52, has been married for 4 years to Andrea, 44, but her enthusiasm vanished after the first one and now her excitement is mostly focused on her visits to Simona, her nutritionist. Sex with Andrea is very boring. Her mother, Fabiola, is brilliant, wild, witty despite her memory blackouts, and has been in love with her husband for 60 years. Adelaide has a close group of friends, all in their 50s (or close): Martina, who just entered menopause and is fixated on fellatios; Tonia, who is a lesbian and engaged; Benedetta, Adelaide’s best friend, who hides her fragility behind the stern attitude of a hatchet woman but is in love with a gay colleague; Rosaria, Tonia’s cousin, who still lives with her husband but just as flatmates. They frequently meet at a Chinese restaurant owned by another 50-something woman, Klara.
